I was also assigned to a Submarine, USS Annapolis out of Groton Conneticut. I have seen Okinawa, Mainland Japan, Philippine, Guam, Saipan, Korea, and Austrailia. Also on the other side I have been to Panama, Spain, Germany, Italy, Crete, Kosovo as well as Bairain, Djbouti, United Arab Emirates and Iraq. Now employed with the American Red Cross Blood Services in Greenville NC.

Stuff people don't like about me...

1) I REALLY don't like alcohol, and I empasize the really part. I believe it causes to many problems in the world, deaths, tears families apart, causes people to be emotionally scarred...etc I just don't like it, and I can be extremely stubborn about it. I don't like clubs or bars, anywhere there are a bunch of drunks, and I don't like the person I'm with to drink.
2)I try to help everyone and sometimes people think that gets in the way of our relationships. Whether it's just listening to them or giving them money...whatever, I love to help.
3)I have a lot of trust issues. If I get the idea that someone is treating me wrong then I start to push them away because I don't want to get hurt. I'll trust you at first, but it doesn't take much to go down the drain, lying about something small...which is usually what happens, tells me that you'll lie about something big as well, who knows what you're hiding. At least that's how I feel.
4)I'm sensitive.

The stuff people love about me...

1)I'll do anything to make someone laugh no matter how crazy or goofy it makes me look. Happy people are what fuel me to be who I am.
2)I love to talk listen to people's problems and try to help them. I like it when they start feeling better about things because I helped them.
3)I play the guitar and write music. Music is one of the loves of my life.
4)I have alot of love to give, and I'll give it all if you don't treat me bad.
5)I'm me. That's it. I like the Titanic, I like ballet, I like Enya, so what, it's appealing to me, who cares if you like it or think it's gay. Granted, those aren't my favorites but, they are things people look down on.

I love the ocean. Especially at night time when you can see the light glare off the waves and the noises of the water crashing is louder than ever. I'm a huge fan of Cirque Du Soleil and broadway. I have a lot of dreams and aspirations and I have no idea which one to follow or which one would be best. Ask me about them. I listen to all kinds of music from 80's hair metal, techno, screamo, and even some "natue sounds with pan flute" haha. I love to have fun, it's what I do. I'm a single Mom with two children, but they really aren't kids anymore. My son is 22, and my daughter is 20. I'm a nurse and have been for 27 years. I work in the Emergency Room of the local hospital. I recently passed my boards and am now a RNafter working as a LPN for 26 years...it's a huge change, but i'm up for the challenges. I grew up in Southern Illinois, but as I got older, I knew that I had to get away. So, I picked the farthest, seemingly the most awesome college I could go to, packed my little blue buggy, and I was off! Of course, that only lasted a year when my dream school in Vermont turned out to be a nightmare. I moved into the neighboring town and spent a year working and trying to save up money for a cheaper community college. When that didn't work out, I moved back home last summer with plans to attend community college nearby. Of course, me being me, I couldn't stay in the town for more than a month before I was off again. Next came South Carolina, which lasted three months before I discovered the wonderful town of Greenville, North Carolina. I have a year long lease on an apartment, so who knows! I might actually stay here for a while.
